Signal Handling--ref

发布时间:2021-01-28 20:47:22 所属栏目:Linux 来源:网络整理
导读:副标题#e# A program error such as dividing by zero or issuing an address outside the valid range. A user request to interrupt or terminate the program. Most environments are set up to let a user suspend the program by typing C-z ,or termi

If the signal causes a handler function to be executed, thenpausereturns. This is considered an unsuccessful return (since "successful" behavior would be to suspend the program forever),so the return value is-1. Even if you specify that other primitives should resume when a system handler returns (see section),this has no effect onpause; it always fails when a signal is handled.

The followingerrnoerror conditions are defined for this function:

EINTR
The function was interrupted by delivery of a signal.

If the signal causes program termination, pausedoesn't return (obviously).
